In the afternoon we went to the flower market. We took the tram. I just love public transportation in Europe. The bus drivers are so helpful. The flower market is gorgeous. Of course there is too much great food. Last night it was a choice of scallops or chateaubriand.

Still playing catch up on the blog. Just very busy. Lots to se and do. Today we went on a bus trip of the city and a ride thru the city on a canal boat. Very pretty. Food is fabulous! Have been too hungry to take pictures. We are headed out this afternoon to see the flower market and to get some brownies at a cafe. Tonight is the Captain’s cocktail party so we will have to dress a little dressy. Wine is included with all the meals and us winos are happy.

We arrived at the ship and our rooms were ready and the luggage being delivered. Ship is great! I really need to take a pic of he room to show you all how nice. We had a buffet lunch and went on a walking tour of the city . Of course we had a cocktail to celebrate our arrival. I forgot to mention that the ship had mimosas waiting for us as we were checking in. On the walking tour we saw a lot of Amsterdam and then struck out on our own to go to Ann Frank’s house. On the was we got a giant pancake with maple walnut ice cream and whipped cream.

We are now at the Amsterdam airport waiting for the shuttle to take us the the ship. It is 34 degrees and sunny.
